All contacts in My Address Book are linked to Mailing Lists. Any amendment made to a contact that is in your Address Book, which also appears in a Mailing List, will be automatically updated.  However, any changes made to the contacts' <FORMALNAME> or <FRIENDLYNAME> in a Mailing List's Advanced Features breaks the link with the 'My Address Book' list and the change to the contact will only be for that particular Mailing List, remaining unchanged in the Address Book.
