  What are Advanced Features?
  Advanced features give you a range of options to customise the Contacts in your Mailing List. The advanced features are designed to make the mailing list service flexible and give you more control over the personalisation of your cards.

  How do I switch advanced features on?
  Once on the mailing list page, click on the advanced features button which brings up the advanced features page. You can then access the options from here.

When viewing a Mailing List click the Advanced Features button to view the options available.
 
  The Advanced Features are:
  - Saving your Mailing List
  - Set Grouping Options for your list
  - Merging mailing lists
  - Saving your merged mailing lists
   
 
   
  GROUPING OPTIONS
  What are the Grouping Options?
  Grouping Options allow you to have control and flexibility in selecting who you want to receive yours cards from each contact address in the Mailing List.
   
  How do I change grouping options for the entire mailing list?
  Once you have personalised your card and completed any merging of lists you can click on the Select a Group Option button where you can select which option is appropriate for this particular card. See list of options below. Once you have selected your option click on the CHANGE button ALL the contacts in your list will be changed to your chosen grouping option. You can then save this list.

  How do I change grouping options to an individual contact address?
 

Once you have personalised your card and completed any merging of lists you can click on the Grouping Option of an individual contact to customise further.

 
  This will open up the Edit List Group Page. Select the grouping you want for that particular individual contact address and click change.
 
 
  Once completed click back to list where you can view your amendments.
You can then save this list.
 
   
  There are 7 different options to choose from
   
  Group everybody (All)
  Means that one card will be addressed with all recipients' names on and sent to that contact address.
  Main contact (M only)
  Will address the card to the Main Contact ONLY at that particular contact address. Therefore partners and dependents will not be included in this!
  Main & Partner (M & P)
  Will address the card to the Main Contact and the Named Partner ONLY at that particular contact address.
  Partner Only (P only)
  Will address the card to the named Partner ONLY at that particular
contact address.
  Main & Dependent (M & D)
  Will address the card to the named Main Contact and all listed Dependants at that particular contact address.
  Partner & Dependents (P & D)
  Will address the card to the named Partner and all the dependants listed at that particular contact address.
  None, use individually (indv)
  Means each and every recipient listed at that contact address will receive a card addressed to them individually in an individual envelope, (where appropriate).
   
   
  How do I change contact names and addresses from my Mailing List?
 

If you wish to edit the details of a particular contact address within your mailing list - open the mailing list and find the contact address you wish to change. Click on the edit spanner icon. This then opens up a page where you can edit the address and names within this contact address. Once saved these details will be permanently changed, wherever this contact address is repeated.

 
   
  How do I customise the contact names from the mailing list?
  Customising Names allows you to alter the <FORMALNAME> or <FRIENDLYNAME> of your contact.

  Once you are happy with your changes click SAVE and these changes will now be saved in the mailing list. Click the back to list button to continue making further customisations to your list.
   
  MERGING MAILING LISTS
  What is merging mailing lists?
  If you have more than one mailing list set up you have the option of combining them into one list. Your mailing lists may contain contacts you wish to invite to a particular party or function. Rather than typing their details twice or adding them individually from your contact addresses, you have the option to merge several mailing lists.

What is also great about this feature is that if you have the same contacts in each separate mailing list our system will recognise this and not repeat the same contact twice. Ballistic Blue can do the work for you!
   
  How do I merge my mailing lists?
  You can do this from two points:
   
  Switch the mailing list function on and Personalise your chosen card. Once completed, click the CONTINUE button - the following screen will appear.
   
  Choose a list for your card:
  On this page click on CHOOSE LIST button and select the first list you wish to use. This will bring up the list you have selected,
 
  then choose the next list you want to merge it with. When the title of this mailing list appears in the window click the merge list button. This will then merge the contacts in each list together. Repeat this process if you have more lists to merge. You can merge as many lists as you like.
   
  Once you have merged your mailing lists you have the option to save the merged lists with a new name
   
 
   
   
  NB. By not saving the merged lists, once you have completed checkout the lists you have merged will no longer be traceable in that format and can no longer be recalled or viewed. By saving the merged list to Mailing List in My Account, it gives you the option to look back and check who you sent your cards out to and reuse it again for any future orders.
   
   
  HOW DO I SAVE THE MERGED MAILING LISTS?
  Once you have completed merging and modifying your mailing lists you have the option to save this mailing list.
   
  NB. You need to switch advanced features on by clicking on the advanced features button.
 
  Simply click SAVE LIST and give it a name in the window. Your merged mailing lists will now be saved in My Account under Mailing Lists..
   
  NB. If I have the same contact address under two separate mailing lists with different grouping options: What grouping options will be transferred into the merged mailing.
   
  It will transfer the contact address details and its groupings from the FIRST list that you choose.
   
  I.e. Grouping (M & P) Mr and Mrs Smith,doesn't mean you have lost the rest of the family names, they are still there in the Main Contacts. At this stage, once you have into the mailing list you can then edit the individual grouping options by selecting (Group All). This will bring up all the original recipients details from Main Contacts list.
   
  How do I add extra contacts to my merged mailing list?
 

Suddenly remembered you need to invite someone else and want to add this person or persons to your already saved mailing list? Simply choose the mailing list from Advanced Features that you wish to add this person too. Click on ADD A NEW ADDRESS, fill in the new contacts details and click SAVE. Once saved click BACK TO LIST and you will see that the new contact address you have just entered is now shown in your chosen mailing list. If you wish to save this contact to your mailing click UPDATE list to save it to the mailing list.

 
   
  How do I delete someone from my mailing list for this particular card?
  If you have created your mailing list and you decide you need to delete someone from the list simply click on the TRASH CAN and this contact will be deleted from that mailing list. This will not be deleted from that mailing list in My Account unless you choose to re-save it and it will remain in your contacts address book.
   
  How do I delete\detach all the recipients attached to my product?
  If you want to detach the recipients that are attached to your current card click on the CLEAR LIST option the list will be detached from your card and clear. The mailing list will not be deleted and can still be found in yourMy Mailing Lists location in My Account. This enables you to start from fresh creating a new mailing list for your product.
