What
is a field? |
|
|
|
|
| |
Fields are used as placeholders for data from your Mailing
List which will appear on your
printed cards and envelopes if you choose to use the mailing list
option. |

When
the mailing list is turned on, fields such as <FRIENDLYNAME>
will appear on your designs to show where the data from your mailing
list will be printed. Once you finalise your mailing list, data is
merged into your design and appears on your cards and envelopes. You
can preview your cards and envelopes with the data from your mailing
list before you initial your design for approval.

TIPS & TRICKS |
|
| |
You can change the fields (and therefore the information) which will
be appear on your cards. You just need to EDIT your
design and change the field where you are asked to
Customise your text, then press
UPDATE.
For example if you wish invitations to be addressed more formally
(e.g. Mr John Smith instead of John), you need to change the field
selected from <FRIENDLYNAME> to <FORMALNAME> |
| |
|
| |
If
you want to Edit the way a Formal Name or Friendly Name appears on
your card, , so it is different to the one held in the Contacts file,
(e.g. Johnny instead of John), you can use the Mailing
List Advanced Features. |
