  What is a Mailing List?
  A Mailing List made up of the names and addresses (known as contacts) that you have in your Address Book. It is designed to make sending a lot of cards to lots of people quicker and easier. You simply choose one card design and personalise it and then create a Mailing List of the people (contacts) you would like to send the card to. A card will then be automatically created for each person on that list. You will then have the option to either, let us post the cards directly to those people (known as recipients), or to have them posted to you to hand out personally.
   
  Do I need to use a Mailing List?
  Use the Mailing list function if you would like us to do one of the following:
   
  Send MORE than one card and automatically personalise it, (and/or the envelopes where appropriate), WITH your guests' names and addresses.
E.g. Dear John & Amanda - See example
 
  OR
  Send MORE than one card creating invites WITHOUT your guest names printed on the cards, but would like names and addresses automatically printed on to envelopes.
E.g. Come to John's Party! - See examples
 
 
   
  If you would like to produce ONE card only:
  In this case you DO NOT need to use the mailing list.

Simply select a card design and personalise the text and we will post it to the address you enter on the envelope or (if you leave the envelope blank) to the Shipping address you enter at the checkout.

   
  How do I create a Mailing List?
  To create a Mailing List you need to register with BallisticBlue.
  There are two ways you can start creating a Mailing List:
  - from 'My Account' home page
  - when personalising a card
   
  Creating a Mailing List from 'My Account' home page
 
- Click CREATE A NEW LIST BUTTON.
- Before you start to build your list you will be asked to give it a name e.g. 'Jack's Birthday Party'.
- You then have the choice of either adding a new contact, (if you do not have any contacts already in your Address Book or you want to add new ones to start your list)
- - Attaching contacts by selecting contacts that already exist in your Address Book.
OR Select USE AN EXISTING MAILING LIST to use a list that you have previously set up and saved. You may then add other contacts to this list.
   
  Creating a Mailing List when personalising a card:
 
- click TURN LIST ON to activate the mailing list feature.
- Once you have finished personalising all the pages of your card you can then start to create your mailing list by either adding a new contact, (if you do not have any contacts already in your Address Book or you want to add new ones to start your list)
OR  
- Attaching contacts by selecting contacts that already exist in your Address Book.
OR  
  Select use an existing Mailing List to use a list that you have previously set up and saved. You may then add other contacts to this list.
   
NB

As you navigate through the pages of the card you will notice titles like <FRIENDLYNAME>, <ADDRESSBLOCK> (these are known as FIELDS ), these fields will be automatically substituted for every recipient in your mailing list. You will be able to proof these details individually on your personalised cards before you purchase them.

  You can view and edit your mailing lists at any time by logging into 'My Account' and selecting'Mailing Lists' in the left hand navigation menu.
