Brides should have 'a radiant complexion'
Brides should have 'a radiant complexion'

12 September 2011

After sending out their wedding invites, brides-to-be may want to book a few sessions at a beauty salon to practice how they are going to look on their big day.

This is because, according to makeup artist Sarah Brock, they do not want to overdo it when they put on their gown and walk down the aisle.

She said women should aim for "a more perfect version" of their everyday look with a "flawless, radiant and natural looking complexion".

To achieve this, they should simply enhance their normal makeup instead of going for something drastically different, the expert continued.

This will ensure they still look like themselves when they greet their soon-to-be husband at the altar.

Ms Brock recommended avoiding heavy foundation, even if women normally wear quite a lot of makeup and want a striking appearance when they walk down the aisle.

Some brides may want to get ideas from celebrity wedding looks. While Kate Moss chose very natural makeup, Abbey Clancy went for a more dramatic appearance with black eyeliner and bright red nail varnish.
